Scott A. Trezise

Scott Trezise leads the Human Resources team at Lumen, helping the business grow by leveraging a foundational belief that talent can be the greatest differentiator between success or failure. Scott and the global HR team support the company by enabling business results across the 3 regions (APAC, EMEA, and US) through a wide variety of human capital strategies.

In his role as Lumen’s Chief Human Resources Officer, Scott brings 30-years of HR experience traversing multiple sectors and includes a multi-year expatriate assignment in the United Kingdom. Scott strives for developing an engaging, result oriented, optimistic culture that contributes to a positive employee experience and environment where all employees can achieve their full potential. The Lumen global HR team partners with line leadership to foster a diverse and inclusive climate, effective talent acquisition, creative employee engagement strategies, and the training and development of employees to learn and grow. Scott oversees other key HR functional areas such as compensation and benefits, HR shared services, and employee and labor relations.

Over the past 10-years, Scott has led and executed multiple business transformations including, but not limited to:

   - The integration of the CenturyLink / Level 3 HR functions

   - The implementation of One Company One Culture (OCOC)

   - The implementation of the High-Impact HR Model

Scott attended Michigan State University for both his undergraduate degree in International Relations and his graduate degree in Human Resources and Labor Relations (HRLR). He remains very active with the MSU HRLR program by serving on their Advisory Board.

Scott grew up in Lansing, MI and enjoys spending time with his wife, Stephanie, and their three adult children, which are his proudest achievements. When Scott and the family can all be together, he prefers to spend the time in his favorite place for respite, Torch Lake, MI.
