Lumen secured the top spot in the mid-year rankings, which recognizes network providers who have at least 4% share of the U.S. Ethernet services market. Lumen has held the number one spot continuously since 2017. It was also the only carrier to have attained MEF 3.0 Carrier Ethernet certification at the time of the survey.

In light of the pandemic, Barron reranked its list of the top 100 Sustainable Companies in 2020, placing greater focus on social issues and the role of companies to address them. Lumen ranked #43 in the overall sustainable ranking, and higher (#34) in the social metrics ranking.

Forbes included Lumen on its third annual list of America’s top 500 employees for diversity.

Based upon 1,600 customer evaluations from nearly 400 individual respondents, Lumen received the Data Value award, given to the global provider that receives the highest combined ratings for perceived quality and price competitiveness of its data service offerings.

Leading research consultancy and market diligence firm ATLANTIC-ACM announced its 2019 U.S. Wholesale Service Provider Excellence Awards in December.
