Quantum Fiber and CenturyLink Join the FCC’s Emergency Broadband Benefit program
April 27, 2021

WASHINGTON, April 27, 2021 – As a company, we strongly support the goals of the FCC’s Emergency Broadband Benefit program and its mission to support households struggling to pay for internet service due to COVID-19.

Today, we officially committed to doing our part to help families stay connected during the pandemic by joining this program.

“As a leading broadband provider, we understand the essential role the internet plays in our daily lives. We’re dedicated to helping families who may be struggling with the pandemic remain connected through this program,” said Maxine Moreau, President of Mass Markets for Quantum Fiber and CenturyLink.

We know our customers count on us to keep our network running so our children can continue to learn and the world’s businesses can continue to run efficiently.

Our Quantum Fiber and CenturyLink brands will be participating in the Emergency Broadband Benefit program by offering eligible households a discount of up to $50 a month toward their broadband service. Households on tribal lands will be eligible for a discount of up to $75 on broadband.

As of May 12, 2021, eligible households will be able to enroll in the program to receive a monthly discount off the cost of broadband service from an approved provider. Eligible households can enroll through an approved provider or by visiting https://getemergencybroadband.org.
