For the third year in a row, Lumen secured this recognition, which positioned it as a best-in-class leader in the region. Frost & Sullivan used two key criteria to gauge Lumen’s performance against its competitors: growth performance and customer impact.
Frost & Sullivan placed Lumen in the upper right of its business Ethernet services Radar, with the highest scores of both growth and innovation indexes compared to any other competitor. It highlighted Lumen’s market share, size and geographical reach.
CRN’s Five Star Rating recognized an elite group of solution providers who offered the industry’s best Partner Programs. CRN selected Lumen for its significant investments in the Channel, best-in-class Partner training and support, innovative marketing programs, and sales incentives.
Lumen secured the top spot in the mid-year rankings, which recognizes network providers who have at least 4% share of the U.S. Ethernet services market. Lumen has held the number one spot continuously since 2017. It was also the only carrier to have attained MEF 3.0 Carrier Ethernet certification at the time of the survey.
CRN acknowledged Lumen’s cloud partnerships with companies like VMware, IBM and Google, as well as its edge strategy to deliver low-latency hybrid cloud services across the U.S.
Based upon 1,600 customer evaluations from nearly 400 individual respondents, Lumen received the Data Value award, given to the global provider that receives the highest combined ratings for perceived quality and price competitiveness of its data service offerings.

The well-known industry analyst firm recognized CenturyLink as a leading provider of MPLS/IP-VPN services in the U.S. market.
