Executive Bios

Edward Morche

Ed Morche brings more than 30 years of experience to his role as President of Lumen’s North America Enterprise and Public Sector team.

In this role, he focuses on delivering transformational technology solutions that help customers build for the future, including overseeing business operations, pricing, sales and solutions architecture and engineering.

His responsibilities include providing IT solutions to large, medium and multi-national enterprise companies as well as federal, state and local government agencies, large educational institutions, research networks and the indirect route to market.

Ed previously served in several senior leadership roles at CenturyLink and Level 3 Communications and led the consolidation of multiple sales organizations following the merger.

Prior to joining Level 3, he held global and North American leadership roles at Igaea Communications, Teleglobe, Global One, Sprint International and Sprint Corporation.

Ed believes “the best way to help businesses is to be a partner who understands their hopes as well as their worries.”

He holds a Bachelor of Science and professional degrees in architecture from the Catholic University of America.

Born in Detroit, Michigan, and later raised in New Jersey, Ed is an avid Detroit Lions fan and a muscle car enthusiast. He has restored a 1969 Shelby GT500 and a 1970 AMC AMX.

Ed and his family live in Northern Virginia where he held multiple senior leadership roles at Virginia Hospital Center, including serving as a member of the Board of Directors.
