Jay Barrows

Jay Barrows serves as Executive Vice President of Large Enterprise & Key Accounts and Public Sector. He leads a team of people who are obsessed with helping Lumen’s national enterprise and public sector customers build their digital future with Lumen solutions.

Jay has expansive leadership experience in the tech industry, having previously led global organizations with hundreds of millions of dollars in sales. He has consistently driven profitable growth by focusing on understanding and delivering the most relevant customer outcomes.

Prior to joining Lumen, Jay held various executive leadership roles at GE, BraveHeart Wireless, EnterpriseDB and Red Hat Inc.

He believes the key to success hinges on building teams and cultures grounded in teamwork, trust and transparency. He loves leading teams that focus on establishing deep mastery of their customer’s problems first and bringing value-laden solutions that solve complex business problems and deliver the most important customer outcomes.

Jay received his bachelor’s degree in business from University of Maine. He lives with his wife and two children in Maine, where he enjoys boating, cycling and rooting for Boston sports teams.
